At all of our meeting times, your student will find a safe place to unwind while growing in his or her faith in the Lord. We offer several meeting settings for your teen so they can feel comfortable to connect with friends and leaders while spending time studying the Bible and learning more about who God is. Each of our meetings is designed to be fun and useful so that students can create lasting friendships and build biblical knowledge for a lifetime.

Sunday Mornings

Sundays, 9:30 a.m. in the Student Center (no class April 12)

Join us as we read and investigate God’s Word in an attempt to grow in our knowledge of who he is and our understanding of his plan for our lives. No yawning allowed!

 

Sunday Night Real Life

Sundays, 7:07 p.m. in the Student Center (no program January 11, April 12, May 10 or May 24)

Sunday nights are the front door into our ministry. This night is packed full of relationship building, intimate worship, student interviews and relevant messages. These are nights when memories and new friends are made.

Guys and Girls Discipleship

Mondays, 7 – 9 p.m. in students' homes January 12 – May 5 (no meeting March 16)

Guys and Girls “D” has become the center for community development.  We believe discipleship happens within community as we discuss the integration of God’s Word with “real life.” If you would like to car pool to host homes, meet at the Student Center at 7 p.m.  

 

SALT

January 25, February 22, March 29, April 26 in C-15

Colossians 4:6 “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” SALT is an opportunity to reflect critically, think theologically and grapple with challenging cultural and spiritual issues. These special monthly meetings will help us think and live biblically in a very unchristian world.

Winter Retreat

January 9 – 11, Westminster Woods

Registration begins at 5 p.m. Friday, and we will return on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Our retreats are synonymous with “I can’t handle this much fun!” So join us as we retreat from everyday life and step into an intentional time of relationship building with Christ and friends through worship, reflection and spiritual conversations. We will eat a pizza dinner before we leave.
Cost $90.

 

LOVE Wichita
Saturday, April 25

Calling all high school students to step up and lead the way on this day where our church serves the city through various projects throughout Wichita. We talk about living missionally, now let’s do it … together.

 

Senior Banquet and Recognition
Sunday, May 3, at 7 p.m. in the Student Center

This is an evening designed to celebrate our graduating seniors. This special event will consist of dinner, laughter and perhaps a few tears. It is open to all family and friends. Be sure to RSVP to Katy Lee in the Student Ministries office by Wednesday, April 22.
